Volunteer at Bangla Sahib Gurudwara - a prominent Sikh Temple located near Cannaught Palace, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is a great place to immerse in the spiritual ambiance. The massive langar hall (a place where food is served) of gurudwara serves free food for devotees where tourists can volunteer while cooking or serving food.  

Immerse in Qawwalis at Nizamuddin Dargah - the resting place of one of the world’s most renowned Sufi saints - Nizamuddin Auliya, this place attracts devotees to listen to the soulful devotional songs of Qawwalis accompanied by traditional instruments.

A visit to Asia’s largest spice market - located next to Fatehpur Masjid, Khari Baoli is the largest wholesale spice market in Asia. All the spices connected from every region of India can be found in this place. It is a prominent place where huge sacks of spices are transported and sold.

Best time to visit

The months of the winter season are considered as the best time to plan holidays in Delhi which starts in October and lasts till March. These months are relatively cooler in comparison with others. The summer season (April to July) experiences the scorching heat of the sun while monsoon brings little water showers which start from August and lasts till September.

RED FORT

INDIA GATE

The war memorial built in 1931 for martyrs of World War I is located in Rajpath.
